Scotland secured a thrilling bonus-point victory over Italy at Murrayfield, with Huw Jones stealing the show with a sensational hat-trick.
Scotland raced to an early lead with two tries in the first ten minutes, adding a third before halftime to go 19-6 ahead. But Italy, led by Tommaso Allan’s pinpoint kicking and an interception try from Juan Ignacio Brex, fought back to level the game at 19-19.
With the match hanging in the balance, Jones and Darcy Graham turned the tide. Graham set up two quick tries for Jones, before the centre powered through three defenders to complete his hat-trick and seal a 31-19 win for Scotland.
